What is Philadelphia-like-ALL?
- Philadelphia chromosome-like acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph-like ALL), or BCR-ABL1-like ALL, is a high-risk subtype of B-cell precursor ALL characterized by a gene expression profile similar to Ph-positive ALL
- The frequency of Ph-like-ALL is 10-30% in Adults & 15% in Children
- Ph-like ALL markers are needed to assess whether adding tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) to current therapy will improve the survival of patients with this type of leukemia
